How is production in China?

Good afternoon. We matured with a friend for the production of a finished device, ala smart watches, we decided not to invent a "great" found, so to speak, analogues of iron, but a bit of iron does not suit. Are there any people who, for interest or fees on the spot, will be our ears, eyes and hands on the spot there in China. And then it’s somehow not very convenient to correspond and it’s not entirely clear what we will get later. Who will advise what? may have been an experience. Thanks

Do not forget to publish the SDK on them so that people can make their own firmware . It's easier to order them to a factory that already produces similar watches - only they have a Minimum order quantity of about 10,000. So it's recommended to go on kickstarter with this one first.
PS Iron in analogues is usually not bad, but software is "turd". I tried to beg the SDK from the Chinese, but nothing happened.

What exactly in the place do you want to see, hear and feel? Is the project ready for serial production? Or for prototyping?
