How is Office 365 different from Word Online (Excell Online)?

What is the difference between using paid Office 365 and free Word Online (or Excell Online) in cloud clients (Dropbox, Yandex.Disk)? Are there any differences or limitations? Thank you.

With an Office365 subscription, you can install the latest up-to-date version of the desktop application on your computer with a time-limited use of the subscription time.
upd: Well, Word online is a simple web application that lags far behind its older relative in terms of functionality.

Office 365 is a complete desktop suite, not a stripped-down version. It is simply sold by subscription for a year, if it is more convenient for someone to pay.
Sometimes a subscription is sold with laptops/tablets.
Well, Online is just a website with stripped-down features.

And if you have an Office 365 subscription, then, in addition to desktop versions, Word online and Excel online are present there.
