How is GitHub activity counted?

I got a job. At work, I got a new git account and was given access to private repositories in the Atlassian system. Question: If I specify my nickname and mail from github in the git settings (the data from which I usually work in GitHub), will Github take into account my activity? Or how can I do it?

No. Bitbucket and Github are not related in any way.

1. Naturally not. Github takes into account commits made to github, and not to some other repository.
2. Before doing this, ask at work whether it is possible to specify external mail. It may be company policy to use work email.
