How is development cost determined?
Hello! I'll start right away. Interested in how web developers determine the cost of developing a site? There are 3 sites, all have similar functionality:
1st: Simple design, simple functionality, well-known, high traffic, conditional development 1000 r
2nd: Blatantly copied first version, not high traffic, not particularly well-known, development 500 r
3- d: Good functionality, more complex in execution than the other two, young (domain age - 6 months), relatively low traffic, development 100 r
How many times have I noticed that the more popular the site, the higher the cost of its development. Even if it will be easier to implement than the site of the Uryupinsk school.
I found an article on the net that described ways to determine the development price for the customer. The methods were as follows: find out the traffic, how popular this particular resource is, and not similar ones, determine approximately how much this site earns and set exactly the same figure to the customer.
The article was very popular.
The question is: Is this statement true?

The mentioned article does not define development costs at all. She defines some kind of gopnicheskoy way to "knock the dough off the client so as not to screw up."
The cost of development is determined by the resources required for this development (people, time, volume, complexity, third-party licenses, etc.). The price for identical work should be the same for a local small business as for a large international corporation with a loot. Another thing is that corporations can sell additional services, good priority support, features, staff training, etc.
The cost is always determined by the resources expended.
A circulation solution will always be cheaper than an individual one.
And attendance is supposed to be determined using a magic ball?
If the site is not yet ready, then I see no other way to determine its attendance. (We have already written about the potential load, but this is different).
The truth is that everyone sells himself as best he can. The famous story with Lebedev's studio, when they made a poop logo for 1 million rubles.
The cost has little correlation with quality or complexity, in any case, not in IT projects, the difference can reach tens of times simply because someone is ready to work for food, and someone does not want to say hello for less than $ 1000.
