How is copyright enforcement for images carried out when publishing an application on the market?

Hello, if to the point of the question, then literally the following is of interest:
1. Is it possible to use in a paid application / application with advertising an image simply downloaded from the Internet, regardless of the presence of the copyright holder, will there be any trouble?
2. Let's assume that everything is as in point 1, only the image is downloaded from the site of free images (let's call it that) can documentary confirmation of the "free" used image / texture / soundtrack be required ???
Thanks in advance.

1. The best option is to draw and compose yourself (i.e. the author is you).
2. The simplest - take from stocks with free licenses with a further indication of the resources used in the section "About" / "Credits" / "About us" and the like.
3. The most low-budget - you order for money, MANDATORY! receive one of several types of licenses (document) confirming the legality of your use of this material (indicating the rules of use for each type of activity, if the rules differ based on the types of activity).
Further, the robot for checking quality and copyright compliance on the market (in this case, on Google Play) checks all the resources from the application against its accumulated database, and if it contains copyrighted objects with a closed license, it will ask you to provide a document confirming the legality of using the media -content (graphics, audio, video, etc.) in your application.
PS: In general, there should be some kind of API from Google so that this can be checked in advance. But, I didn't search.

Sites always have terms of use for content. As a rule, you need to indicate authorship (creative common license is most often seen on sites with music and graphics). Those. on the site or in credits you need to indicate authorship, as in the example on the site. If there is no such section on the site, then this is pure piracy and it is better not to take anything from there - as a result, it may turn out to be more expensive for yourself.
