How does Yandex check the favicon of a site?

Immediately to the question
Let's say google when it crawls the site and indexes pages, files and the site as a whole, I see it in the web server logs, what the bots do and what they get, and so on, you can clearly see what the bot is doing.
But Yandex silence, in the Yandex webmaster, constantly writes a complaint, saying that the favicon was not found or the correct one, while I don’t see any bots in the Yandex logs or anyone else who would try to get the icon.
How he does it?
I press for a second check, in a day I get in response that the error is relevant, the logs are empty again.

@Lakika

When I first encountered the same problem (all requirements were met, but there was a notification in the webmaster about the absence of Favicon), I wrote in tech. Yandex support, to which Platon Schukin replied:

The message is displayed in Webmaster because the favicon is not yet in the search. The webmaster checks for its availability in the current database, and not on the site. The robot bypassed your favicon, and it was loaded into the new version of the database, but Webmaster does not see it yet. Shortly after the database is updated, the favicon will appear in the search, and the message will disappear.
