How does VKontakte know which site I visited?
I hardly use this network, I decided to troll to read the official Habr group , a window appeared:
VK can follow me through its widgets like “I like” or “Comments widget”, but I have Ghostery especially for them .
And yes, what antivirus for GNU/Linux do you recommend? I only heard about ClamAV, but as far as I remember, this is more of a server solution...

Guys, you don't seem to be on VKontakte. How will he know? On all contact pages, links are never displayed directly, they are all redirected through vk.com/away.php, that's where he knows.
I also had the same. I went to the porn site only by clicking on links from VKontakte publics and nothing else, and after a while he suspected this site of malware and warned me that I had recently switched to them.
For the first time I see that they asked for antivirus under the tench ...
Today I also got this, though I have never visited this site, and there is nothing like it in history.
there was sort of a way to determine visited sites by checking the color of the links when they were displayed. Only I have big doubts that VK uses such dirty methods. In any case, write to their support
Today, this sign also came out completely randomly) I came in from a new tab), I, of course, got scared, changed the password, got into the hosts, but everything is clean everywhere, so this is probably just a bug.
Doesn't window.history store information about all pages visited?
Or VKontakte cannot have access to it?
Didn't find what you were looking for?
