How does the Meissner effect scale?

After watching a video with a levitating skateboard from Lexus, I asked myself the question - is it possible, with unlimited superconductor resources, to make a body the size of a car soar like that? From the bus? And, let's say, a meter or two from the surface.
What determines the height of the hover? How does the mass of a floating body affect the effect?
