What?
If you mean the business of selling time codes and recharge cards for game currency (for example, a wow time card for 60 days can be bought for 15,000 gold on the azuregos server), then it usually works as follows:
Fraudsters ("hackers") steal / card / in some other illegal way they receive time codes / payment cards. Then they exchange these cards for game currency. Then they exchange the game currency for rubles. This is how they launder the stolen money. That is why blizzard highly discourages buying game currency with real money or buying payment cards with game currency, because it turns out that you are helping scammers.
Of course, there are still options for buying up gold and then reselling it at a higher price, but generally speaking, this is not very profitable, and they are also struggling with this.
If you are interested in the business of selling time cards for real money, then it works simply: you buy time cards from a supplier (for example, the same blizzard) and sell them for more than you bought, the usual scheme for any trade.
