How does SmartTV check internet connection?
Why did such a question arise?
The TV connects to Wi-Fi but does not access the Internet. Everything was ok before.
Other devices get access to the Internet via Wi Fi.
I tried to go to samsung.com from a PC, but could not connect to the address. And I concluded that SmartTV pings samsung.com to check the connection and possibly where there are network problems before samsung.com.
If so, is it possible to change the address that SmartTV pings, or just change it on the router ...

O! And here is the answer: www.xakep.ru/post/62380/default.asp
To find out that your SmartTV is pinging, you need to listen to the toafik with a sniffer. Make an access point out of your laptop, run a sniffer on it, and see where your TV is trying to access (perhaps it doesn’t ping anything, but tries to download a certain file from a certain server, as Windoes does, for example)
And then ... And then, depending from the situation. If you have some kind of dd-wrt installed on your router , then you can try to raise dnsmasq on it (in my opinion it can do this) and configure it so that it answers the samsung.com request.
