How does backup work in Bitrix24?

Here are the settings for regular backups.


Tell me what happens when we select cron? I thought that in this case, tasks in the crown are taken into account (which we configure on the server itself by poking points 6). That is, the bx_backup.sh script should seem to run, but it does not start, and apparently the backup.php script still works.

I changed the schedule in the crontab file itself, the task does not start.
When I manually run the bx_backup.sh script, everything works.

The question is that there are bx_backup.sh and backup.php scripts and there are backup settings in the control panel, how does it all work and in what sequence?

Well, there is a footnote.
The item "with agents on cron" means that the RC will be executed on agents if they are transferred to cron. No separate scripts need to be added to the cron. It is enough to follow this instruction: https://dev.1c-bitrix.ru/learning/course/?COURSE_I...
The third point means that you will configure the launch of /bitrix/modules/main/tools/backup.php yourself. How is it your business.
