How does automatic withdrawal work with Upwork?
In my account settings, there is a quarterly withdrawal of funds with an amount on the account> $ 1000, but I never brought it to automatic withdrawal, always by hand. How does automatic withdrawal work? Does Upwork send some kind of notification some time before the withdrawal?

Automatic withdrawal is made extremely rudely and clumsily.
On the specified date, the funds will simply be transferred to the default account specified. No warnings. You kind of just forgot about him and then bam and got on the commission again. And in the notification letter, it is also written with a mockery: "If you did not approve of this operation, contact technical support." They just won't help you there. They say you're an idiot.
I always save a large amount so that I pay less commission. But Upwork doesn't care how often you transfer. If you have $1000, then the money will fly away on the specified date.
Now I've learned to bypass this crap. I put two reminders on the calendar: the day before the transfer (to switch the setting to the transfer on the next Wednesday) and the day after the transfer (to switch back to once a quarter). Thus, I avoid automatic translation.
