How does a raid card remember settings?

Hello.

Raid card LSI 9260-8i without battery. Set up an array. Where are the ride array settings stored? If I turn off the server and turn it back on in a month, will the ride card remember the array?

Good RAID controllers simultaneously store the configuration in non-volatile memory and write it to the service sectors of disks.
When loading, the controller checks the correspondence of the records and, in case of data discrepancies, either corrects the settings automatically (for example, if two disks are simply swapped), or prompts you to specify which configuration to use, from disks or from memory (for example, when replacing the controller with a similar one).
