How do you work with a customer when transferring data?
Good afternoon. I am a beginner freelancer, I wanted to ask more experienced colleagues. Let's imagine a situation where you have the usual task of layout + landing on WP. So, the following questions:
1. Is everything so simple with the transfer of login / password from the hosting. Do customers send this data along with the layout, or are there some "rules" that are usually followed?
2. To land on WP, you upload your code to the theme. What prevents the customer from simply changing the data and stealing your layout?
3. If you need paid plugins for the same WP, what do you usually do? Do you tell the customer about this, thereby expanding the pool of his costs, or do you install third-party software for the sake of saving and leveling the conflict?
In general, I ask for a workflow, contact with the customer on the topic of data transfer and other things. I want to work competently and correctly, stepping on a rake as little as possible.
Thanks in advance!

I'm from a different area, but IMHO, the main advice is to ask the customer and avoid misunderstanding.
1. Backward customers send. More advanced ones give access to GitHub (GitLab, ...) and a test server.
2. You can show the work on your server, and transfer the code when paying. But in general it is better to work with people where such suspicions do not arise.
3. Offer the customer options, explaining/demonstrating the benefits of paid plugins.
