Competition on the freelance exchange?

Good day. I would like to know the opinion of people who ordered projects on the freelance exchange about real competition. According to the numbers for each project, one gets the impression that the competition is huge, but the question is how much does quantity translate into quality? Or are most of those who responded to the project competent and responsible specialists? Interested in the web development segment, namely the front end.

Everything is very simple. Even primitive. And quite obviously.
The more expensive, the better. The more expensive, the less competition.
There is only such a lack of the human psyche -
when you have a million performers ready to do for food,
but you even understand with your head that this is unrealistic,
then, all the same, the toad says - let's try for 3 kopecks.
The biggest problem is if the customer is not a specialist at all.
Then it is difficult to choose an adequate performer.
I'm an expert, I ordered work in my field.
I know for sure that the work takes quite a lot of time
and a person whose qualifications allow you to do this work
will not work even in the province for less than X money,
but I still got a lot of offers
with promises to do cool 10 times faster than it is physically possible.
And of course, for 10 times less money.
In fact, this work could not be done under such conditions.
Nevertheless, my toad made it very difficult to think.
Even despite the fact that I am a specialist in this field and I understand perfectly well
that all these assessments are, to put it mildly, idiotically optimistic.
Conclusion:
Yes, there is a lot of competition.
Yes, there are many offers.
There are very few real qualified performers.
The fact that they offer you something there,
in 99% means that they will either not fulfill you at all,
Or they will fulfill it at an extremely poor quality level.
The answer is obvious - only money.
Qualified specialists despite the "type of competition" have a queue of jobs.
And the prices are not reduced
;)
All this competition is ephemeral.
It's more than just informational noise.
Yes, it is inconvenient to break through to the customer or look for an adequate contractor.
That is, this "type of competition" - it simply prevents you from concentrating, meeting the customer and the contractor.
In fact, there is no competition.
There is another customer error.
You can read it on the forums where customers complain that it is impossible to find a specialist.
In fact, it looks like this: "I chose the first one who came across for 3 kopecks, he did nothing,
chose the second one who got caught for 3 kopecks, he didn’t do anything worthwhile,
learned from his mistakes, choose the third one who got caught for 10 kopecks, he did nothing,
learned from his mistakes, took on the recommendation of a specialist, he wanted 100,000 rubles, he was completely disgusted, refused,
I chose the first one I came across for 100 rubles, he pretended to do the job, nothing more "
Well, such is the competition.
Yes, the customer's toad makes it very difficult to understand that there are actually no workers for 3 kopecks.
They are not real.

There is an alternative. Saw a blog, gain an audience. Long, painful. But the result will be stronger than a portfolio and freelance reviews. There is a whole story to start on the same freelance.

Well, about the competition, it is well described on the upwork.
If you correct the space on the site, there will be 500 performers, if you make up a complex template, then it’s still lucky if at least one of the applicants can
upworkest.ru/konkurentsiya-na-frilanse

There is a problem with quality on fl.ru:
- 50% automatic copy-paste of template answers i.e. are molded by scripts in general in all projects passing by the keywords they need. Moreover, it can be generally managers who are only able to write in general phrases;
- 25% of answers from people who read the task fluently, as a result of which you have to ask to re-read it again;
- 25% adequate answers from normal freelancers who read the assignment, understood it and left a useful response. Sometimes this percentage is even lower.

Quantity does not go over to quality.
But beginners are trying harder and harder. In the segment of mid-price performers, there is a transition from quantity to quality.
