How do you prepare the text before publishing on the site?

There was a need to intensively prepare texts with ready-made html markup for publication on the site. Of course, there is an editor in the admin panel, but it takes a long time and it is not always possible to adequately test the appearance.
How do you prepare texts? What software are you possibly using? Thanks in advance to everyone for the replies.

I made an exact clone template of my site in Dreamweaver and write texts + layout tables and pictures in it. The only downside is the spell checker. There is no underlining of misspelled words, so you either have to read carefully, or then load the html into the open office and run it with a speller there. Uncomfortably scary. However, with this approach, I can see exactly what will be on the site, so I can, if desired, adjust the required number of words in a paragraph to wrap around a photo, etc. So far I haven't found a better option.

If the site is properly laid out, then the standard simple HTML (from the same Dreamweaver) will be displayed well on the site.

If you use wysiwyg, then just add all the styles from the site there (the view will be one to one). If you write html code, then make a live preview (on each change, copy the code to the adjacent div).

And how about taking and a little file (write a plugin specifically for your site) for CKEditor, for example?
