How do you look at what people can take your API key from the site?

I ran into a problem with a new project.
And I decided to solve it with such a crutch. I went to the old site even before the Google update (in the sense of maps).
And put in a key, well, what to lose?
Works without any billing.
Or am I rejoicing too early? Will it block or just not allow access? What if everyone can do it?
