How do you like node.js + asp.net web api architecture?

I decided to write a pet project on the ASP.NET Web API stack, which I know well, and Node.js. I planned to use Node.js in writing ui (ui-front-end, ui-back-end) and back-end on Web Api. Does such an architecture have the right to life, or is everything too complicated and can we limit ourselves to one technology?

node.js - это в основном back-end на js, зачем еще asp.net
или node.js только для html-шаблоны node.js?
для web ui посмотрите на angular\backbone
