How do you fight laziness?

How do you learn to program or work, how do you read a book or write code without being distracted by extraneous factors?
Sometimes I start coding or reading books, I open a social network and disappear into them for the whole day, how do you deal with this?

Not so simple.
I am just starting to develop mobile applications and have developed several tricks for myself, which I saw in articles on Habré, TED and other sources.
1. Sloth does not exist. There is just a lack of interest. Therefore, I don’t remember anything that someone was too lazy to shoot Dota or “tanchiki” for many hours in a row.
So I sat down at the laptop in the morning, opened a tab on developer.android.com, read, Eclipse with copy-paste was opened in parallel, and I was slowly sorting it out. And you know, some kind of feeling, anxiety in English, I don’t know how it will be most accurately in Russian. Therefore, it is easier to open social networks, 9gag, or even read any rubbish information in LJ that is not specifically related to me.
I read a lot of articles about procrastination, motivation, but this article hit the bull's-eye - blogs.hbr.org/2014/02/how-to-make-yourself-work-wh ... habre. In short, if we analyze how successful people spend their working time, it turns out that they complete tasks despite the "inconvenient time", "oh, now it's reluctant", and the fear of screwing up is replaced by the fear - "what will happen if I do not start the current task this very second."
And also this performance on Ted. www.ted.com/talks/dan_pink_on_motivation There should be Russian subtitles. About the fact that the methods of motivation of the 19th century are still widely used, despite the fact that they have lost their effectiveness. New methods are proposed.
2. You need one hundred percent reinforced concrete confidence in yourself and your own actions.
3. Change of physical activity. Indeed, the lower back, back, neck begin to ache after two hours of coding or browsing. Therefore, it is important to take at least three-minute breaks, of course, programmers need several hours of "full immersion" in the project, it is desirable that no one distracts them, because then they will have to delve into everything again and build the application architecture in their heads. Personally, when I want to read a book on Java or just an artist, I don’t sit or lie down, but walk around the room, I even lost fat over the winter :-) It would be interesting to measure activity with a pedometer. Of course, this is necessary so that no one is annoyed if you are sitting in the office or in the office with a colleague.
4. It's good to read about the "flow state", it helped me personally. Many articles on habré. A scientist, a researcher of this phenomenon, says - www.ted.com/talks/mihaly_csikszentmihalyi_on_flow
5. There are many small chips, but they are organically developed when you try to increase your productivity, the main thing is to write them down somewhere and accumulate them.
I was happy to share my personal approach.

Laziness is a defensive reaction of the body. You need to clearly understand what is happening to you. If you can't concentrate on work/study while surfing on the net, then this work/study is not important/interesting to you.
There are no easy recipes. The best ones are always individual. If you want, you can find a build for yourself.
After all, everyone always has time for what they are really interested in.

Volitional effort. The main thing here is to give yourself a kick and start doing something, and then you get involved by yourself, and you don’t need to force it to continue.

This topic inspired me to work. I'm going to finish a couple of projects under linux.

1. You need to stop forbidding yourself to sit in the social. networks. If a person forbids himself, and eventually enters a social network, a news site, etc., then he feels guilty and begins to think. “Yes, what is there!”. And as a result, you can sit half a day on the Internet, condemning yourself for it.
This habit can be dealt with differently. First, you need to organize it. For example, give yourself 10 minutes per hour when you read Twitter, a friend feed, etc. When this routine becomes habitual, do 10 minutes every two hours.
2. If some activity is painful, then either some negative emotions do not allow them to do it (For example, fear of mistakes), or it is simply not interesting. In the second case, you should think about how to get rid of this activity in your life.
