How do you customize the Django admin panel to suit your needs?
Good afternoon.
I recently learned about Wagtail and the following question arose from the functionality of this CMS:
I would like to know from your personal experience how you customize the admin panel for the customer?
Let's say the customer asked you to develop a blog, you quickly threw everything into the template. But django-admin is still relatively difficult to change design/logic.
And the customer just needs to go in, write a post, attach pictures, specify links, format the text, publish the post and exit.
Is it worth it to rewrite django-admin completely for the customer? How do you use it and how do you edit it?
What would you do at the moment?
Maybe use Vue / React to write a separate admin panel?
I would be glad if you share your experience in this area.
I think django-admin is designed just for the developer, rather than for the customer.
The customer needs a beautiful design, a simple and intuitive interface, convenient functionality.
