How do you analyze which libraries/tools were used in development?

Good afternoon, 2015 is in the yard and more and more developers are trying to launch the project as soon as possible, as a result (is it this or is it a consequence of the fact that more and more people are beginning to understand that bicycles are not the best thing to do) - third-party libs begin to enter the project (here , probably more about frontend, and I mean not only js components, by libs I also mean css frameworks, analysis systems, etc.).
Are there any tools, services that allow you to determine what a given project (website) uses in itself, without meditating on the source code? For myself, I have been using the Wappalyzer browser extension for a long time, but I would like to know what others use. Or in the old fashioned way - in the source code?
