How do WiFi signals work?

I've heard that when using a wifi router, when an internet connection is needed, the phone sends radio signals to the router, which in turn sends back data to servers.
Now there will be a lot of questions, thanks in advance for the answers.
1) Do routers also send a radio signal, or what? If they can send so far, why is the distance of the wifi router so small.
2) How are these signals sent, do they travel such a long distance? 3) How does the router even know where to send signals and how they reach
4) Does it send directly to the server? Whereas hackers can intercept the signal, unless they are on a direct road from the server to the router
5) What scheme does the Internet work then?
You can just throw off the link to what to read. Everywhere I read, these moments are missed

1) Do routers also send a radio signal, or what?

Yes.
If they can send so far, why is the distance of the wifi router so small.

And how far? Only low frequency waves can travel far, and WiFi is microwave.
2) How are these signals sent, do they travel such a long distance?

With an antenna. I already talked about distance.
3) How does the router know where to send signals and how they reach

He doesn’t even know, he hits in all directions, so they fly. Throw a rock into the water and see.
4) Does it send directly to the server? Whereas hackers can intercept the signal, unless they are on a direct road from the server to the router

BUT? Which server? What kind of hackers?
5) What scheme does the Internet work then?

What?
You can just throw off the link to what to read.

I don’t remember whether the Olifer’s have an ultra-detailed description, or Kurose’s. Read both.
