How do weak processors physically differ from powerful ones, and other parts of the PC?

why a powerful processor is more expensive than a weak processor. Do they use some kind of expensive material or is it an artificial overpricing simply because it is powerful?

@gungster

The price is determined by the percentage of marriage. A powerful processor and a weak one are produced using the same technology, but a powerful one contains more transistors, so the rejection rate is higher. Hence the higher cost.
