How do they solve the problem with fonts for different languages in their products?

Greetings. I ran into a problem that the font used in my product does not support all languages - what if the user wants to insert some exotic Chinese text into the input field? The user will see these squares, tofu. I came across a font from Google with support for all languages - Noto, but I tried to write Japanese / Chinese text with it, these unsupported characters are also obtained there. In addition, depending on one Google font is also not an option. However, if you paste any text into visual studio or phpstorm, then everything is displayed correctly in any language. And the font in different languages is visually the same. How do they solve the problem with fonts for different languages?

The main thing is that the font fully supports English and Russian (some do not support "й" and "ё" for example).
In general, they use several fonts, so that if the user does not support one, another one will turn on. Almost everywhere in such a list there are Helvetica and Arial. Helvetica is available on Mac, Arial is available on Windows and Mac. They support all kinds of hieroglyphs, but if I'm not mistaken, they are not in Linux. Nevertheless, with these fonts you will already reach an audience sitting on Windows and Mac.
PS I made a mistake, I corrected it in the comments.
