How do secret services themselves use the Internet?

Considering that in 2019 Google, Facebook, etc., everyone fires through their plugins on all sites, it’s interesting, for example, Putin (when watching videos with Navalny clicking chips with beer) or oligarchs with parliamentarians when they go online, do they use self-written browsers?
2) Then traffic is easy to sniff (even from airplanes ), how do they provide themselves with complete security? For example, redeemed server IPs?
3) Also in connection with the sharply jumped up in 18/19 and a very sad trend in the spread of viruses (bios rootkits / viruses) - due to backdoors in processors like That is, it does not exist? intel me - on what hardware do special services, employees of antivirus companies like Kaspersky sit? After all, I remember Madame Kaspersky about everything she said about this not so long ago, but she did not offer a solution.

I don’t think that what public figures of the Russian state are doing is particularly interesting to Western intelligence services, but for show, I suppose everything, from a computer mouse to door handles and shoe laces, is crammed with spy equipment to the very core, I won’t be surprised that it’s like a sport whose department will throw more ;)
Let me remind you that they are not engaged in real work, but subordinates, in fact, those whom you see on the screen are ordinary clowns, someone directly as the face of the Liberal Democratic Party, someone more respectable, riding ostriches and shaking with a bare torso. And the actions of subordinates are not monitored for show.
The technical lag of Russia in comparison with the United States is so great that I think there is no talk of any attempts to act contrary to the planetary policeman, hence the logical conclusion and it is considered, in earnest, that everything that happens in our country has been sanctioned and controlled by them for a long time.
How can you hide anything from the one who controls information flows all over the world (literally, almost the entire population that, in principle, works with computers is already under control), who holds control over technologies (who can be produced and to whom it can be sold) economic and political? okay, hide what you ate for dinner and what you want to eat for lunch, but where you go, who you meet and what you talk about - I guess it's no problem.
backdoors in processors? viruses in bios? - that was ten years ago, can you imagine what ten years are like when you have unlimited budgets and huge intellectual resources? what is the surveillance and information gathering tool now?

they use custom browsers

Yeah, both Putin and Navalny write their own browsers.
Take it cooler - redeemed internets. Everyone has their own.

Putin receives everything on printouts or on a tablet from the secretary. He does not understand in these your internets.
Parliamentarians are not protected, even in the Duma itself, judging by the fact that they are regularly fired on either porn or online toys.
