How do "null" articles affect the ranking of the entire site in search?

Hello!
Essence of the question:
I made a site without a sematic core and it turned out that there are articles on it that do not bring any traffic on their request. Also, they cannot be promoted to the top due to some nuances. In general, they can be used for linking as an addition to some articles and just as information for general development. But from the search, traffic will not go through them.
Will these articles somehow affect the site as a whole and how?
Should they be removed?

When I first created the site, I thought that I could do without the core. In the end, I realized that without him at all in any way.
Please prompt!

Ideally, it would be worth making all the articles on the site useful, but:
You shouldn't delete articles, especially if they are not quite "zero" in terms of meaning. It is better to modify them or combine them that are appropriate in meaning. You can leave it for relinking, just try to reveal at least some small topic in the articles.
As an option, make collections of articles like "10 most popular errors when installing Windows" - from the search, such an article does not have to collect heaps of traffic, but already being on your site in a special block "similar articles" may be of interest to readers.
