Hello, I have a problem, I wanted to consult with you. About 1-1.5 years ago I registered on upwork, but I started working on my profile and searching for orders about a week ago. I filled out the profile, added the work to the portfolio (of course, I did not embellish it a lot), uploaded a photo, but not my own. A couple of days ago I took a large order and started working. But today I received a notification that I need to pass video verification, I don’t even know what to do, because the photo is not mine, although I indicated my city of residence and skills. Maybe write to support and explain the situation in advance or is it still an account ban? If anyone has experienced this, please advise.

Sorry, but why are you posting someone else's photo? If you don't want to show your face for some reason, don't post a photo at all. After all, it is known in advance that all freelancers must undergo verification. You will most likely be banned and will do the right thing.
