How do I set up an email client to be recognized by OneNote?

The problem is this: when you try to send a note from OneNote to the mail, a message is displayed stating that "failed". Before that, it wrote that the mail program was not configured - in the control panel I installed the Metro-application "Mail" for this (before that, GMail, opened in Chrome, was used as a mail client).
But all these actions do not help. Is there a way out?
