How do I make Firefox save temporary download files in a different folder?

At the moment, Firefox saves temporary files directly to the Downloads folder, but it is required that the temporary is stored in one folder, and the finished (fully downloaded) files in another. Realistically implement it?

You want unnecessary nonsense. Now you have the file uploaded to the destination folder and the name is reserved. At the end of the download, there is a simple renaming of .part to the final name. After downloading, for example, to drive C:, you want to copy the downloaded file to drive, say, D:, followed by deleting the original copy on drive C:, and for what? This only lengthens the download process by the time of copying from one partition to another, plus you need to have enough space to download the file not only on the target partition, but also on the "temporary" partition.

My Firefox downloads right where it directed it. During the download process, you can see how the under-downloaded .part file grows. Nothing appears in Downloads. The space on the C drive is not reduced. Specially tried now.
What is the actual problem?

ironclad solution symlink
run cmd as admin

mklink /d "c:\каталог в который программа сохраняет" "d:\каталог в который надо сохранять"
