How do I know which SSD is right for my laptop?
I welcome everyone. I am interested in this question. I'm going to buy an ssd.
I have an Acer Aspire VN7 571G laptop.
I'm thinking of buying either a 500 Gb Kingston NV1, M.2, PCIe 3.0
SSD, or a 480 Gb Kingston A400, M.2, SATA III SSD.
Can you please tell me which one is suitable for my laptop?

Firstly, the laptop model is not exactly specified, there are several of them.
In Windows, you need to press the Windows + R keys, enter "msinfo32" and execute, in the column "mainboard model" the model of the motherboard will be displayed. Then try to find its characteristics.
The surest way is to write to Acer support first. But judging by the reviews on YouTube and comments to them, you have a SATA interface and PCIe is not supported.
Probably an upgrade planned? That is, replacing the HDD with an SSD? Then any 2.5" SSD with a SATA interface will do.
