How do drives behave when a NAS4free system crashes?

Good day! I installed NAS4FREE on the server, put the system on ride1 of 2x2TB hard drives, and connected 2x4tb hard drives into ride1 for the main storage partition, formatted it in zfs, but the question is, will the data in the ride suffer if the system crashes and how to restore them in this situation?

1) Нет ровным счетом никакого смысла делать RAID вне ZFS. ZFS делает RAID своими средствами куда как лучше. Это одно из её серьезнейших преимуществ.
2) RAID 0 - категорически нельзя делать как самостоятельный. Он только снижает надежность. Он делается только в паре с другими уровнями RAID, которые надежность повышают. Например, делается RAID 1+0 на четырех дисках и т.п.
3) Из соображений восстановления - лучше ставить NAS4Free отдельно. Например, на флешку и с флешки грузиться. А диски целиком отдать под данные.

Why not RAID 1?
