How difficult / realistic will it be to sell a used Chinese smartphone in a year?

I think the majority of Khabrovites change their assistants quite often, as technologies develop, prices fall blah blah blah, but you always want something more powerful than it is. I myself change smartphones about once a year. No, I'm not chasing new releases and cores, I usually buy what has fallen well in price, but still remains relevant and satisfies my requirements both in terms of wallet and hardware.
Now the question arose of buying a new smart, because the old one has not yet fallen too much in price and it is still in good condition for a successful sale for the desired amount.
Recently, there have been more and more reviews about powerful and super cheap Chinese devices, which made me want to buy. But thinking about the future, I can’t imagine how I will sell it in the same year, because if branded smart phones fall in price quite smoothly and predictably, then I’m not familiar with the dynamics of the Chinese, and something tells me what to sell for though 60-70% of the price in a year (as I usually do) it will be impossible, but this does not suit me.
What do you think? Is it worth taking a Chinese and hoping that it will be possible to successfully shove it, or lose in performance, and take a branded smart with confidence in the future?

It depends on what is meant by a Chinese smartphone, the same Meizu is one thing, and all sorts of non-name zakosy under other brands is another matter. In Chinese phones, in principle, the quality is lame, it may well not live a year before the date of sale (how lucky).
IMHO, it's better to hunt for slightly used brands on ebay. Especially Motorola, there are good models with large batteries, while quite a lot of people are not against buying them used and in a year.

Given the average low price for the Chinese on pandawill.com and the rapid growth in this segment, it's easier to buy a new phone for 150 bucks in a year than your used one for 100.

If I understand correctly, you usually take "tops" and those close to them. That is, you buy for 20-25t.r., and sell for 12-15t.r. That is, you lose 8-10t.r. in year. If my assumption is correct, then taking the Chinese now 10-15t.r. It will be enough for you to sell the Chinese in a year for 2-5 thousand rubles, so that you do not spend more than you are used to in a year. In my opinion, such a sale is no less likely, though if he is alive;) ...
In general, I would take a chance :) ...

I don’t know about used prices, but I can say that in practice there were 4 china, all software or hardware crashed after 5-7 months, the record was 9 months) in the workshop they don’t even take china in their hands, I asked myself 1 bent over firmware, 2 firmware was installed but for 2 months.

Relatively everything. I think Xiaomi Mi 2 can be safely sold in a year for 8-10k, with the market now 15 on average.
But brands, yes, not geeks are more willing to take.
