How critical is the size of the style file (style.css and others)?
I am building a website on WP. As responsive layout progresses, style files gain weight. When loading any page, the theme loads two files: style.css and responsive.css, their total weight is about 350 kb.
Tell me, is this a lot or is it normal? Does this weight greatly affect the download speed? Personally, I don't notice even after turning off caching in the browser.

Not a little, check the site in google lighthouse, you will find out if it's bad

The size of the style file is less critical than other parameters. WordPress sites drown the canvas of styles and scripts that about every first plugin tries to include. And you also need to compress images, minify files, cache duplicate requests - this is more important
. By the way, I’m even wondering what you wrote there for 350 kb, it’s really a lot, probably 10k+ lines
