How convenient is it to develop different projects?

Hello!
The question arose, I am simultaneously working on several projects at once, some of them are Wordpress, some on Laravel on Apache, some are Yii2 on Nginx, two projects on Ruby On Rails, one of which is built in Docker.
Now I'm sitting on Windows and each project has its own virtual machine. To be honest, it’s not convenient at all with virtual machines, and the computer is buzzing from such loads. I'm thinking of installing Ubuntu as a second system, but how to organize such a hodgepodge there? Share your experience.

For such purposes, there are all sorts, without virtual machines:
Just figure out which ones support many projects for free, and which ones offer components.

I agree with the previous author, look at the possibilities - there is a difference.
