How can you monetize a site?

Dear Khabravchan!
I have a small project - a browser-based online strategy game Travian www.travianx5.ru and the question of its monetization is already brewing. What is the best way to monetize it, in your opinion?
My opinion is to make several packages of different cost. And a package that costs $1 so you can pay for SMS and other emails. currencies. What do you advise?

First you need to promote the project, and then monetize it.
The most popular monetization model for small games is built-in advertising and in-game purchases (preferably not that much affecting the gameplay, but more of a decorative part).
But as noted above, it is still too early to introduce monetization, so as not to scare away those people who are playing now.
Of course, you can use a dirty trick and slightly exaggerate the number of players to make the project look more alive, but only for a while, until it gains momentum.

You have 143 players, what kind of monetization can we talk about, that's when there will be a million then already think.

shut down, do something new. Why not make a game for VK, FB, ODNKL for example?
