How can you measure user engagement in a specific block on the site?

Greetings.
For clarity, let's take a conditional page layout:

There is a block on the page. For example, let's take a block with text (Content). There are other blocks above and below it. I would like to understand the user's involvement directly in this block: how much time he devotes to it when viewing the page.
The only thing that came to my mind was the metrics webvisor, but viewing each visit separately is a long, complicated, painstaking task. Surely there are some possibilities to get summary data on a page, but it is also important to get summary data on involvement in the desired block by a group of pages.
If you know the options, please tell me.

It looks like content analytics presented in July by Yandex.Metrica is just right for you .

Catch onhover/onmousemove "mouse" events (except for touch devices!), monitor the viewport and send id-blocks and timestamps when leaving the page with Ajax.
