How can you measure the amount of water in a kettle?

I decided to upgrade the kettle to control it via bluetooth, but I don’t know how to measure the water level.

Direct the webcam to the kettle :-d
In general, consider also options with a float like in a car gas tank, with the help of a float you can control the level, and not a certain point.
Wiring will corrode in water.
