How can I write a Mac OS program that interacts with Google Docs?
There is a Macbook Pro with a touchbar and the MTMR program , which allows you to interact with the touchbar.
I need a program.
Basic functionality: "Start / pause" button + timer + "Reset" button. All this on the touchbar.
Add. functionality: after pressing the "Start" button, a window opens with a field for entering the name, the entered value is recorded in Googledoc (the last empty cell of a certain column). After pressing the "Reset" button, the time is recorded in Googledoc (on the same line as the name, but in a different column).
Where to dig to do it yourself (it's interesting to do it yourself)? At least the basic functionality, for starters.

And what's the problem then? There is already a ready-made open source program, just see how and what is done and try to repeat it.
