How can I solve the problem with adjusting the screen brightness on Windows?

Good morning! After installing Windows 7 on an Acer Aspire E1-572G laptop, there is no way to adjust the screen brightness at all, which is always at the maximum level. I downloaded the AMD driver from the official ACER website and updated it, but the problem was not solved. Going into the device manager, I found problems in the driver for the AMD Radeon R7 M265 video card. In the general properties of this driver, it shows the status: "This device has been stopped because it has reported problems (Code 43)". Tell me, please, how can I solve this problem, the screenshots on the issue are attached.

The problem was solved by updating the driver of the integrated Intel video card, because of which the discrete AMD graphics card did not work. After the update, it became possible to adjust the brightness of the screen.

As I see it, you have Windows 7 and, apparently, it was set to Legacy BIOS mode . The fact is that the Legacy BIOS mode is essentially virtualized (by the way, the system is slower) and is not particularly supported by firmware manufacturers, so there are some problems with devices.
I had an Acer Aspare E5-571G laptop and it had problems with devices in Windows 7 using Lagecy BIOS (sometimes the touchpad did not work, the keys stuck). I solved the problem by updating the BIOS firmware to the latest version that I downloaded - Select & Download Acer drivers (and a little later I installed Gentoo Linux / Windows 10 on UEFI / GPT - it worked like a clock)
You have a choice:
1. Install the latest UEFI/BIOS firmware by downloading off site from the link above
2. Either remove Windows 7 and install Windows 8.1/10 in UEFI/GPT mode

PS measure seven times cut once! :)
