How can I organize the storage of settings in a separate file in an Android studio project?

I'm not an android developer, just for fun)
I want to store some parameters in a separate file so that they don't get into git.
For example (as in PHP - $params = include 'fileName.php'; $someVar = $params['someKey'])
How to organize it correctly?
