How can I make an image of a working server with freebsd on board, so that I can then deploy it on the same server? Means analog of an akronis, only for unix.

I have not heard of more beautiful solutions than downloading any live image a la gparted and from there dd | gzipthe entire disk (if the machines are identical); or partitioning a new machine manually, and then from under the native axisman 8 dump / man 8 restore
