I am very interested in how the procedure for obtaining barcodes through GS1 Russia www.gs1ru.org works.
Registration with GS1 is available.
1. Is it possible to independently generate barcodes in terms of numbers Product code?

2. Do self-created barcode numbers need to be reported or registered with GS1? Are there any online (API, etc.) tools in GS1 for this purpose
3. If self-generation is not possible, is there any online tools (API, etc.) in GS1 for generating barcodes? How can this procedure take place?

AFAIK, you should have received country registration and manufacturer codes. Then you independently assign a unique code to each of your products, based on the principles of GTIN number management . There is no mandatory registration of codes, however, you can volunteer to join one of the GDSN pools and transfer data about your product codes to it.
