How can I find out where my server data is located?

Actually, the question is about the protection of personal data and the transfer of servers to Russia.
I have a website on shared hosting. The operator is a Ukrainian company. They have many servers including in Germany, Holland and USA.
At the same time, it may sound strange - I myself do not know exactly in which country my server is physically located. How can I determine where my server is physically located? How will Roskomnadzor do it? And, as I think (but I could be wrong), during the operation, the hoster himself can transfer the server imperceptibly for me as it suits him - he himself archives, duplicates, reserves, and can transfer, if you need to update the hardware ...
Well, another question from the same series - for example, I found a Russian hoster and want to switch to it. How can I be sure that his servers are in Russia and do not violate the law?

Roskomnazdor will check the contract with the Hosting, which should indicate where the servers are located. When choosing a hoster in Russia, ask where the servers are located and ask to include in the standard contract the phrase that the servers are located in Russia indicating the location of the data center, although now in my practice most data centers are aware of 242 FZ and are taking some steps in this direction . Therefore, summarizing:
1. ILV will check the contract
2. It is necessary to include in the contract a phrase about the location of the equipment.
With such actions, there will be no problems with the ILV

The coolest thing is that if the server is virtual, then it can even move (and without stopping work).
And you can find out only from your host.

You can ask this question directly to the technical support of the hoster. From my own experience, I can say that they can give you an answer without any problems.

In the contract, you write that the hoster undertakes to store data in accordance with the Federal Law. Further - not your worries.
