How can I find out if I can be a designer?

On the one hand, I understand the interfaces, but on the other hand, I don’t have a visual idea of how the site should look like, following the example, you can do something, but it’s unlikely from the head, and I’m an ethstet and a supporter of fashion, I can roughly say what a beautiful design which is not which is in the trend and which is not, but in order to come up with something in the style of the trend from scratch, there is no fantasy, + I don’t know how to draw.

Can.
Follow the examples, copy others, after a while many different ideas will remain in the mind.
Then you will combine these ideas in every possible way, already from the head.
This is how 95% of everything you see is created.

oh, the country of the Soviets...
the criterion is simple - if you have an entry "designer" in your employment record, then you can.
no matter how much you know, there is someone who knows and understands even less.
you don't have to do anything from scratch. work experience is the experience of setting up the work environment.
that you already have a bunch of programs with already completed projects installed on your computer.
Most of the time is spent on setup.
and the rest, yes, the routine is about beautifully ugly.
the question is different - are you pret? if pret, then you have to become.

Drawing is not one of the must-have traits to be a designer, I guess. Develop your imagination, make every convolution of your brain work, practice, and then everything will certainly work out

Experience, experience, experience, experience, experience, experience, experience, experience, experience, experience.
Drawing is not required. A designer is much more an engineer than an artist. If you were going to become illustrators, then isotria would be different.

"If you really want to, you can fly into space ..." I studied absolutely all graphic programs from tutorials, only in rare cases using training courses. Therefore, the main advice on the way to this profession is practice, practice and more practice. Open illustrator, run a YouTube tutorial on creating a business card/booklet, etc. (start simple), go through at least 1 exercise a day and after a while some understanding will appear ...
