The buttons I have are displayed large, gray, with small text and without wrapping to a new line. How can this be changed?

Ruslan, as I understand it, the style of the buttons themselves cannot be edited. Most likely, the creators did it consciously so that the actions in all bots look unified.
If you want to spice up the text a bit for your users, use emoji characters ( getemoji.com/) - looks really good in buttons!
