Open fire+gajim what can cause an item not found error on the client side?

In a strange way, for gajim (debian 8) users connecting to the server, the message "item not found" flies out for all users who have not logged in for more than six months.
I don't see anything strange in the server logs.
I can't imagine where the gajim logs can be.
What could it be?
