How can I display a customer from Dynamics CRM in the Jira issue field?
Welcome all.
The company has two systems: Dynamics CRM for salespeople and jira for consultants/developers. There is a strong desire to see all issues in Jira associated with a particular client.
Now we are making this a parent task, but controllability is lost and the very logic of the tax tracker is violated.
The solution is seen in creating a custom field in the issue in Jira and filling it in manually or by linking (the latter is preferable) to a record in CRM.
Tell me, has anyone experienced this?

I recommend looking at the CRM for JIRA plugin.
I myself use this plugin, rich functionality and a ridiculous price (50 bucks). Easily sets up custom fields.
Due to the fact that all your clients are maintained in another product, you may need to think about synchronizing the list of clients in CRM for JIRA and Dynamics CRM. There are imports and exports, so if you want everything is real, without any problems.
You can automatically set the organization by the author, and so on. In general, an interesting thing.
