How can I change the css color of the content: url() style?

Hello, I'm on wordpress and I want to change the default rating stars that are displayed as text

and therefore have jagged edges.

I partially solved this with

.star-rating:before{
content: url(ссылка на svg c звездой) }

But now I can't change the color of the star.
In wordpress 2, the stars are superimposed on each other and then the color changes.
But fill in color doesn't work in my case, which might help. Maybe there is an easier way on wordpress?
