There is an hour-long video in English. I would like to generate subs for better understanding. Unfortunately, simply uploading to YouTube will not work due to the length of the video.
How can you generate subtitles?
Are there any suitable solutions for Linux?

if the video is worthwhile, then it will be voiced and for a bottle of beer
