How can I amplify the signal of a satellite dish?

Now I have updated the satellite set-top box, before there were more than 100 channels, sometimes due to bad weather it showed badly. Now updated caught only 44 channels. Numbering goes for example 0 channel, then 6 channel immediately. That is, it is clear that some of the channels are lost.
How can I amplify the signal? Or how to solve these problems?
Why is the plate so sensitive. Or we did not install it correctly, at the wrong angle.

So did you change the plate or the prefix? Or the whole complex? If the current is a set-top box, then either it has a less sensitive tuner, or the set-top box is configured to receive other transponders or another satellite in general

What's an attachment? Most likely the new firmware has a different list of transponders.
